Fintech Academy (FTA) and the Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) are pleased to announce the signing of a collaboration agreement aimed at driving fintech innovation programs and fostering knowledge exchange in the financial sector in Jordan.
The agreement, signed today at Singapore Fintech Festival 2023, by FTA CEO and Founder, Dr. Lillian Koh, and IBS Executive Director, Dr. Riyad Al-Hindawi, solidifies the commitment of both institutions to empower individuals, businesses, and financial institutions with the knowledge and skills necessary to embrace the opportunities presented by fintech and innovation.
His Excellency Ambassador Samer Naber, Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, highlighted the shared vision of FTA and IBS in empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to drive innovation in the financial sector.
He stated, "Despite geographical distances, Fintech Academy and the Institute of Banking Studies Jordan solidify their shared vision of empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to drive innovation in the financial sector through this collaboration. This agreement symbolizes their commitment to fostering an environment that encourages knowledge exchange and innovation."
Dr. Riyad Al-Hindawi, Executive Director of IBS, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "Institute of Banking Studies, with the assistance of the Fintech Academy in Singapore, will provide comprehensive and cutting-edge training activities, short courses, specialized diplomas, and professional certificates that empower individuals, businesses, and financial institutions to embrace the opportunities presented by fintech and innovation."

Under the collaboration agreement, FTA will provide consulting services, curriculum development, event organization, professional development, and stakeholder procurement to support the establishment of a Fintech Academy in Jordan.
