The joint academic committee of the Institute of Banking Studies and University of Jordan which was formed by the Institute's board resolution no. (820) dated 16/12/2008, held its third meeting at the Institute's premises in Amman on 3/9/2009 and it was entrusted to make periodical evaluation for  the academic performance of the Masters program at the Institute in accordance with item (4) of paragraph (b) of the second article of the affiliation and cooperation agreement concluded between the Institute and University of Jordan on 29/5/2003.

The latest developments regarding the Banking and Finance  program were discussed including the implementing of recommendations made in the committee's second meeting and the procedures taken by the institute's management in this regard.

Many topics were also discussed during the meeting: the regulations regarding the accreditation terms and conditions of higher education institutions and their adoption by the University of Jordan and the Institute, informing the joint committee by the procedures taken to approve the renaming of the Masters program and the new academic plan by University of Jordan which will be implemented in the beginning of the first semester 2009/2010, in addition to other subjects related to students affairs.

At the end of the meeting, the committee put its recommendations concerning all the matters on the agenda in order to maintain the distinguished level of the program and its development in all aspects.
